Greater Knoxville:
Hike, kayak, and explore at Ijams Nature Preserve
See the Tennessee River and Smoky Mountains at Lakeshore Park

Smoky Mountains:
Drive Cades Cove
See the elk at Catalooche
Favorite Hikes:
Short: Andrews Bald, Clingmans Dome, Grotto Falls, Chimney Tops
Long: Alum Cave Bluffs to Mt. Leconte, Jump off (our proposal spot)/Charlie’s Bunion
Visit Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville for all the tourist attractions including Dollywood

East TN / West NC:
Visit Asheville
See trees almost as big as the Sequoias at Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest
Drive the 129 Tail of the Dragon (318 curves in 11 miles)
Swim or boat at Lake Fontana or Lake Santeetlah
Hike at Frozenhead State Park
